Dear Members,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead
our Chapter this year as president. I look
forward to building on the work of my
predecessors.
I would like this year to be a year of digging deeper into needs of our professional members and
working with our associates and knowledge experts to fill those knowledge gaps.
Our Young Professionals (YP) Committee is now built a good foundation and has had a number
of successful events. Make sure to be on the lookout for their events on the calendar moving
forward. The young professionals are eager to network with our professionals so they can get
the insight from professional’s years of experience.
As in the past, we will work to provide scholarships to FM students and look for ways to
students and professionals to information share.
I am excited to work with the board to create a strategic plan and balanced scorecard for our
chapter as a guide for the next couple of years and using the feedback from the member
surveys, one on one conversations and events to improve what and how our chapter strengths
our members knowledge base.
