Career account management and customer relations professional with over Fifteen (15) years in the vertical transportation industry.  Gloria started in the elevator industry with TKE and quickly learned the ups & downs of the industry. She then made the move to a private family-owned operation with Liberty Elevator Corporation where she could cultivate her business philosophy of building a genuine relationship and delivering on promises with customer service and project execution on a more personal level.

How do you interact with Facility Managers?
I interact with them however is best for them, I will email or call them by phone and also meet in person as needed. What ever works best for that FM.

Tell us about a favorite project related to working with a Facility Manager. Working on a Modernization project with a customer, getting the details worked out so it best suits the customers timeline for multiple elevators for a capital plan.

What is your greatest success story related to working with Facility Managers?
Getting that MOD completed efficiently and timely to move on to the next phase.

Tell us about a challenge or obstacle that you faced working with a Facilities Manager and how you overcame it.
Customer having issues with their freight doors causing the elevators to shutdown regularly. We suggested new door equipment and higher quality door gibs to help when the doors are hit by delivery people to keep from knocking them off track.

What is something that most people do not know about you?
I was an extra on the premiere episode of Walker Texas Ranger.

What learning experience would you pass onto future FM’s?
Learning the importance of the elevator as a building asset and basic knowledge of how it works knowing how to recognize the type of equipment you have.  Accompany your service tech into the motor room and see first hand the controller and associated equipment for your elevator.
